Websites for venture capital firms and the founders they back

Your website is the first pitch a founder sees. Thesis, portfolio, partners and how to reach you, built in a week. And the portfolio company websites that follow a term sheet, in the same week, by the same team.

  • From $15k, fixed
  • Live in seven days
  • You own everything

Who this is for

Seed to growth venture firms, angel syndicates, accelerators and venture studios, and the founders in their portfolios who need a real website between a raise and the next one.

  • Venture capital firms whose site says less than their last fund announcement
  • New funds launching with a partner page and a thesis that need to be live on announcement day
  • Portfolio founders who need a proper website in the first ninety days after a round
  • Accelerators and studios with a cohort of companies to launch at once
  • Angel syndicates that need a credible front door and a clean way to take deal flow

The job of the website

What a venture capital website has to do

Founders choose their investors too. Before a first meeting they have read your thesis, counted your exits, checked who the partners are and formed a view on how you work. The website is where that view is formed.

  • 01

    Make the thesis legible

Stage, sectors, cheque size and what you actually add after the money. Written plainly enough that a founder knows in a minute whether to write to you, and an AI assistant can answer the question accurately.

  • 02

    Keep the portfolio current

The portfolio is the proof. It needs a content model that makes adding a company a two-minute job, with sectors, stages and exits marked, so it is never six months out of date.

  • 03

Give deal flow somewhere to land

A founder-facing path that asks for what you need to make a decision and nothing else, routed to the right partner, with the data going only to your systems.

  • 04

Move at the speed of the news

A new fund, a new partner or a big exit should not wait a quarter for the website. The announcement page goes live the day the news does.

Websites

What we build for venture capital

The firm's own site, and the sites the portfolio needs in its first year.

  • The firm website

Thesis, team, portfolio, insights and a founder-facing path. Structured so it is found for the sectors and stages you invest in.

  • Portfolio company launch sites

A founder's first proper website after a raise: positioning, product, team, careers and a way to sign up, built in the week they would otherwise spend on it themselves.

  • Fund and announcement pages

A single page for a new fund or a new partner, live for the announcement, with the press kit ready to send.

  • Insights and thought leadership

A CMS the partners will actually use, with each piece structured to be cited by search engines and AI assistants, not just posted to LinkedIn and lost.

AI solutions

AI solutions for venture capital firms

Built on the same foundation as the website and scoped in the same workshop.

  • Deal-flow intake assistant

Inbound pitches structured against your criteria as they arrive, with a first-pass summary drafted for the partner it belongs to.

  • AI features for portfolio companies

Lead qualification, onboarding and support built into a portfolio company's website, so the founder's first hire is not a customer service team.

  • AI search visibility

A monthly read on how AI assistants describe your fund and your portfolio, and what to publish to change it.

Selected work

Live sites, each built in a week

We build for founders, which is how we know what a portfolio company needs from a website in its first twelve months. Below: a health-tech platform, a SaaS tool, a product concept, an energy rebate business and a business advisory, each live within a week.

In a client’s words

Working with the team on our new website was an outstanding experience. They listened to our ideas, provided valuable guidance, and brought our vision to life better than we could have imagined. The entire process was smooth and stress-free, and the finished result perfectly represents our business and values. Their attention to detail, creativity, and communication throughout the project was exceptional. We would happily recommend them to anyone looking for a high-quality website and outstanding customer service.

The week

How the week runs

Briefed Monday. Live by Sunday. Here is what happens in between.

  1. 01Monday

    Brief and strategy

A half-day workshop: who the site is for, what expensive problem you solve, what a lead is worth and what has to be true by Sunday. Sitemap and message agreed by the end of the day.

  2. 02Tuesday

    Structure and words

Page structure and a first draft of every page, written from the workshop, your existing material and the way your buyers actually search.

  3. 03Wednesday

    Design

Design on the real content, on real screens. You see the homepage by the end of the day, not a mood board.

  4. 04Thursday

    Build

Every page built, forms wired to your inbox or CRM, the CMS in place so you can change a headline without calling us.

  5. 05Friday

    Review

You walk through the site with us. Changes go on one list, and the list gets done.

  6. 06Saturday

    Finish

Revisions, performance, accessibility, structured data, redirects and analytics. The unglamorous work that decides whether a site gets found.

  7. 07Sunday

    Live

On your domain, in your name, with the repository, CMS and hosting accounts all owned by you from day one.

FAQ

Questions venture capital clients ask us

How much does a venture capital firm website cost?

Websites start from $15,000 ex GST, fixed. We quote the exact figure before the week starts, based on the Monday brief, and nothing is billed by the hour. A firm website with thesis, team, portfolio and insights is a single week's build. Portfolio company sites are priced per company, and a cohort of them can share a template. Ask and you will have a figure within a business day.

How long does it take to build a VC website?

Seven days from the Monday brief to a live site on Sunday. If you have a fund announcement with a date on it, tell us the date and we will work back from it.

Do you build websites for portfolio companies?

Yes. A first proper website is one of the most useful things a fund can hand a founder in the first ninety days after a round, and it takes us a week rather than the founder's quarter. Each site is owned by the company, not by the fund or by us.

What should a venture capital website include?

The thesis in plain language, stage and sectors, cheque size if you publish it, the partners with real backgrounds, a portfolio that stays current with exits marked, insights if you write them, and a founder-facing way to get in touch that asks for the right things. It should also be structured so an AI assistant asked about your firm answers from your site, not from a database that is two funds out of date.

Can you launch a fund announcement page quickly?

Yes. An announcement page is a single-page build, and we can turn one around inside the week alongside the main site or on its own. Give us the embargo date and we will have it staged and ready to publish.

Why choose 7 Days To Launch for a venture capital website?

We build for founders and for the funds that back them, so we understand both sides of the site. A fixed price, a seven-day build, a strategy session before any design, and a team that also builds AI solutions on the same foundation.

Who owns the website and the content?

You do. The repository, content, CMS, hosting and domain are in your name from day one, and nothing is licensed back to us.
